Fast ınternet.
If you dont mınd a dırty room and not havıng towels ( despıte askıng for them) and havıng tp share a really dırty bathroom then thıs place ıs for you. It was very cheap but I dıdnt expect ıt to be thıs dırty. The guy at the receptıon was super frıendly and helpful when we needed advıce. However he had an annoyıng habıt of beıng on facebook whıle we were talkıng to hım. I doubt he heard us when we asked for towels (that should have been ın the room).

Although I booked 2 weeks, when we went to the Hostel, they said they didnt have any room and they gave us a room without a bathroom. A room that once belonged to a former hostel employee. It was filthy and small. But I had to pay the same amount as if it was a normal room.

Good location (5 min from/to Kurtulus metro station and shops), very kind people -even those not speaking english-, large and clean room (with refrigerator!) and bathroom (with very large bottle of shampoo) . We did not want to have breakfast in hostel, but we could drink tea and turkish coffe. The hostel has and student dormitories but this was not disturbing, it was very quiet during the night (except the noise from street, but I knew of this from the reviews and I accepted that this will the situation).

The hotel is very convenient for town and attractions. Public transport is good , reliable, clean and cheap. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was not included in the price but was available however the dining room was not set up and we felt as though we were the only guests there. The facilities were acceptable for the price.

I am very glad I selected this hostel for my 3-week stay in Ankara. Firstly, the location of the hostel is very convenient. It is located in one of the central parts of the city close to the metro station. Secondly, the personnel in the hostel was very friendly and always helpful. There is always somebody who can speak English on the reception. Thirdly, the rooms are quite big, comfortable and always clean. There is a terrace on the roof with an amazing city view, especially at night. Most of all I enjoyed the family-like atmosphere maintained by the personnel of the hostel. If I was asked to give a new name to the hostel, I would call it "The Hostel of Friendship". I want to thank everyone working in Ankara Han Hostel for making my stay there enjoyable.

Cozy and freindly. Having a girl who speaks Farsi (otherwise no one speaks English). A budget stay when you are no looking for luxery. Clean and warm. the balkoney of the rooms are just perfect. The hostel is located on top of a hill in front of Ankara University, so from the balkoney you can watch the city and the weather. The hostel is located close to Ankaray metro station which is 2 stations away from Kizilay city/metro center.
People who can communicate in English Poor information about the city and places. e.g. I wanted to go for swimming or gym but nobody knew where I can find them. in Google Map you should also know Turkish to be able to find locations! english does not eaither help with Google Map.

Location is good, walking distance to the Kurtulus metro station.
They did not give the promised double room, but a twin room. The room welcomed us with a bed smell. Sharing the balcony with 3 rooms was not comfortable, then your neighbors use the balcony, you feel like they will enter your room. We had only only one towel, although we booked double room.

Ankara Han Hostel is centrally located in Ankara. There is a connection to Ankaray nearby that is an excellent starting point to explore the city. Furthermore there are plenty of shops, restaurants, pubs and take-aways around the hotel making self-catering very easy. The hostel has free wireless Internet. Another plus: there is a 24 hour check-in, so you can come and leave anytime and early travels and late arrivals are possible. All in all definitely not the best but also not the worst place I ever stayed. If you are looking for a clean bed in a silent but central location, this is an acceptable choice.
The first impression of the place was rather bad: there was just one guy that spoke English, busy arguing with a staff member - simply nothing you want to see arriving at a place. The cleanliness of the room was generally okay, but the carpet in my room was really filthy and there was a water stain in both the bath room and the bed room. Probably of a water damage. Breakfast is not included, however you can buy it for 6 TL. Nevertheless in my opinion for 60TL a night it should be included in the price. The TV-set only receives Turkish and Central Asian programmes, for none-Turkish speakers at least a few English programmes would be delightful.

The location being fairly easily accessible by public transportation and the room we had.
We stayed there in late July and early August 2012. The room we had, though had very nice view, also happened to be getting the full hot afternoon Sun and was hot. Therefore, it would have been much better if the room had airconditioning.

gentle and good stuff ,clean rooms , near the city center and common transportation , friendly environment , I think it is more like hotel than hostel
I was in November in this hostel and rooms are not enough warm and there is not any air condition system . hostel has a good building and view and equipment but there is not any one to maintenance and solved technical problems same as burned lights
